Week 2 news...

Jessie – Jessie went to Invercargill hospital yesterday because her friend was having a baby. He was three weeks early! He is tiny. Jessie didn't get back until 11 o’clock. The baby's finger was the size of a fingernail. His name might be Jackson but they are not sure yet.

Isobel - "Yesterday I went and got my brace. It is nice and comfortable." Isobel's brother keeps trying it on and she gets annoyed with him. She got the brace from the Medical Centre. Isobel isn't sure how long she has to keep the brace on for.

Aaliyah - In the holidays Aaliyah got some stickers. Aaliyah likes her fish stickers because they reflect and sparkle in the sun. Aaliyah also has a Cinderella book that you can colour in. The book has stickers in it that you can stick on the pictures and words.

Matheus - Teo's Mum bought some new shoes for Teo. They are exactly the same as his Dads, but his are newer and cleaner! Teo wants to look like his Dad so when he grows up he can be a builder too. Teo's Dad builds lots of different places.

REMEMBER - This week is bandana week at QPS. Bandanas are on sale for $4.00 and all money goes to Canteen (Teenagers with cancer).

Week 1 news...

Rohan brought in his new puppy Casper to visit Room 9!

Here is a story Rohan wrote about his puppy.

On Ratapu I got a dog. We got to call it Casper. He cost $400 dollars. That would take 800 hours of garden work. Casper is black, he likes to chew. He feels cuddly and lovely! He also plays all day. Sometimes he gets excited.




Ella - Ella went to Temuka and Timaru. When she was there she got a Littlest Pet Shop. It is a penguin. Ella was going to call it Pengo but she decided to call it Penguino!

Alice - When Alice went to Christchurch she wrote a diary. Alice went to the ballet and watched the Peter Pan show. She also went to the zoo and got a little kiwi.

Lachie - "In the holidays my Grandma came and I did lots of work. I got lots of money so I decided to buy a skateboard".
