Week 2 news...

Cameron and his mum made a map of the world. Cameron showed us Stewart Island on the map. His dad has just been there fishing. He caught twenty fish! They were all blue cod but Cameron’s dad had to put the small ones back.

Millie’s grandma is coming for a visit. Then they will all travel to Australia in a big plane. Millie and her family are going for her aunty and uncle’s wedding. Millie likes to talk to her grandma on skype. Millie’s grandma is from England.

Riley is going to soccer on Friday and Saturday. Riley has to travel quite far to play soccer. Last Friday Riley got two goals! Riley’s team always wins! Riley is number 1.

On Sunday Charlotte went over to Wanaka. They went to have lunch but had to wait for an hour! So they went into Wanaka town to have lunch at the pub. Charlotte had mini hotdogs and chips. Yum!

Mikaela got a panda bear from China. Her granddad got it for her. There was a boy and girl panda bear. You can take the panda bear’s jacket off. You can’t really see its eyes because they are dark. Mikaela got it when she was four.

Week 2.1 news

Jared went to Leeston. By the time he got home it was 6 o’clock and was quite late. Jared got to watch tv in his Mum’s room. Leeston is quite far away but it is in New Zealand.

In the Easter holidays the Easter Bunny gave Niki a present. It was sitting on her desk and she found it first. She was reading some books to her Mum and it was in her pencil case with the lid off.

“In the Easter holidays somebody came over to my house to have a sleep over.
It was my sister’s friend but I can’t remember her name. She was five years old. She stayed for the Autumn Festival. When it had finished she had a sleep over and went home on Sunday” said Harry.

Bailey made a vehicle without instructions. It is an Indiana Jones vehicle. It is on level four where the bad vehicle chases the good vehicle. Bailey plays the Indiana Jones game on the computer. The lights on the vehicle can move up and down.
